Getting Involved

There are 3 ways for individuals to become involved with FCA Endurance.  People can sign-up to be Ministry Partners, Teammates, or Home Team Members.

Ministry Partners

FCA Endurance welcomes participation from anyone interested in endurance-type activities such as running (5K-ultramarathon), triathlon, bicycle road racing, cross-country skiing, etc.  This includes athletes, families, supporters, and those willing to give to this ministry through their time, resources, prayers, and finances.  Those interested can sign-up to be a Ministry Partner of FCA Endurance on this site.  By becoming a Ministry Partner, you are telling us that you are with us and support our cause.  Signing up also adds you to our email list, so you'll be informed about what we are doing around the country.

TEAMMATES

TEAMMATES are ministry partners of FCA Endurance who wish to race for
TEAM FCA Endurance.
To be a TEAMMATE, one must:

1.  Be a Christian endurance athlete at
     some level (recreational to pro).

2.  Sign and strive to abide by the
     Competitor's Creed during
     competition, practice, and life.

3.  Participate in at least one endurance
event this year wearing our Team's
     colors (jersey, shirt, etc.)

4.  When presented with the
     opportunity, share the love of
     Christ, your testimony, and/or the
good news of the gospel with
     people.  This may include referring
     them to another Teammate or
     trusted Christian leader.

If you meet the above requirements, and wish to race for Team FCA Endurance, Click Here.

*Note, if you sign-up as a TEAMMATE, you are already signed-up as a Ministry Partner (i.e. you don't need to fill out both forms, just the TEAMMATE one).

Home Team Members

The Home Team is a group of individuals, businesses, and churches who are committed to see FCA Endurance achieve its mission through partnering with us prayerfully and financially.  Without the regular prayers and financial support of people moved by God to take an active role in seeing that this ministry fulfills its God-led plans, FCA Endurance will never have the impact that God intended.  While praying and giving are behind-the-scenes ways of serving and worshipping, they are are vital to any ministry, including ours.  Please prayerfully consider joining our Home Team and follow God's leading.

To join our Home Team, click here, or go to our
links page and click on Home Team Brochure.  There you can download and print our Home Team brochure.  You can also sign-up by emailing canderson@fca.org.

Expectations and Opportunities for all Partners and TEAMMATES:

Individual Member/TEAMMATE:  Individual ministry partners or TEAMMATES are encouraged to serve FCA Endurance, local and national FCA ministries, and/or other athletes through volunteering with local FCA Endurance Huddles, local FCA offices, or local communities and events through running an aide station at a race, helping set-up or tear-down a course, etc. And, as always, all prayer and financial support to FCA Endurance or FCA is always appreciated.

FCA Endurance Huddles:  If you live in an area where two or more ministry partners or TEAMMATES live, you have the opportunity to form a "Huddle". This is an opportunity for people to join together locally to engage in fellowship and serving. Obviously the group can do the same serving as can be done as an individual, only with a bigger impact. Plus, as a group, you could schedule fellowship times, practice times, put on clinics or events, host a competition, do outreach with other groups, etc.
